My research interest has focused on understanding personality, life style (risk factors), genetic factors (single nucleotide polymorphisms) and psychosocial factors as predictors of osteoarthritis, chronic kidney disease and Diabetes. I not only investigated the association between the candidate gene polymorphisms and aging diseases but also the analysis the gene-gene or gene-environment interaction. In addition, I also researched a number of projects that examine the factors surrounding arthritis and physical activity, health outcomes, and health disparities.
