Zheng Zhou DDS, PhD, is a Diplomate American Board of Periodontology, and Associate Professor at Department of Periodontology and Oral Hygiene, School of Dentistry, University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Zhou received his dental training and doctoral degree in Orthodontics from West China College of Stomatology, Sichuan University, China . He completed his residency in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, and certified from Medical College of Georgia. Prior to his current position, Dr. Zhou was employed as an Associate Professor in Orthodontics, Sichuan University, China, and worked in The University of Liverpool in United Kingdom, University of Alabama at Birmingham, Medical College of Georgia and Emory University as postdoctoral fellow, research associate and full time faculty. Dr. Zhou is past recipient of Billy Pannel Award. He is also the reviewers of peer-review journals, including Tissue Engineering, PLOS ONE, Journal of Biological Chemistry, and Journal of Pediatric Dentistry et al.
