He works on the tissue engineering and regenerative medicine fields with a focus on the induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), Adult stem cells (isolation and characterization) and biocompatible scaffolds in the orthopedic disorders. We established Osteogenic and Chondrogenic differentiation process of iPSCs and Mesenchymal stem cells on 2D and 3D culture system. His motivation is in the scaffold fabrication process, for example, the use of different biocompatible andbiodegradable bio-polymers (synthetic and natural), several surface modification methods for scaffolds fabricated by various methods, encapsulation or incorporation of drugs, growth factors, genes and etc. He used animal models in the most of studies; he also tries to investigate more about which signal pathways involved in the osteogenic induction by nanofibrous scaffolds.
