Guodong Cao Ph.D. received his Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Peking University Medical School in 1998. He started his Postdoc training in 1998 and was promoted to Assistant professor in 2008 and Associate professor in 2012 in the Department of Neurology at University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Cao’s researches focus on neuronal cell death mechanism, neurovascular remodelling, white matter injury and stem cell therapy in ischemic stroke and exploration of therapeutic approaches for the treatment of ischemic stroke.
