Ming Pei is an Associate Professor and a Director of Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering Laboratory in the Department of Orthopaedics, West Virginia University. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in Exercise Physiology and Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. He received his PhD from Beijing University, China in 1999. He spent three years as a Postdoctoral Associate in Harvard – M.I.T. Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST) and three years as a Research Fellow in Department of Orthopaedics, Brown University.
