Dr. D. Late has completed his MSc and PhD (2008) degree in Physical Sciences. After completing his PhD, he joined as a DST Post-doctoral Fellow on Nanoscience & Technology. Then in 2010 he moved to Department Materials Science and Engineering, Northwestern University (USA) Chicago, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Since 2013 he is Research Assistant Scientist at Northwestern University. His current research interest includes "Synthesis of atomically thin nanosheets of inorganic layered materials for Nanoelectronics device applications such as Transistors, Photodetector, gas and biosensors, supercapacitor, Light Emitting Diode, Field Emission, and catalyst for water splitting etc. and Raman spectroscopy"
