Dr. Hade obtained a BSc in Biotechnology from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Maharashtra, India and received his MSc in Biotechnology from Bangalore University, Bangalore, India. He then moved to the Institute of Microbial Technology, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India and obtained his PhD degree in Biotechnology where he investigated various functions of truncated hemoglobins and their chimeric forms in the lab of Dr. Kanak L Dikshit. Dr. Hade has received several awards and published several research articles. Dr. Hade did his postdoctoral work at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine, Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. At FSU his work was mainly focused on the development of novel ways of cargo loading into the exosomes and investigating their effects on wound healing. Dr. Hade has been involved in multiple projects related to the extracellular vesicles and drug discovery. His research interests include exploiting the application of extracellular vesicles for wound healing, cancer therapy and neurodegenerative disease. Currently he is working as a Scientist at Celltheon Corporation, Department of Molecular Biology, Union City, California, USA.
