I am currently working as a scientist at the “Centre for Excellence in Alzheimer’s disease Research and Care (CEADRC)”, Edith Cowan University with Prof. Ralph Martins. Since joining (2008), I have been involved in the development of early stage diagnostics for the detection of Alzheimer’s disease and novel therapeutic agents. A) Under the diagnostic stream, I have been involved in the development of valid and reliable biomarkers for recognizing AD in its pre-symptomatic stage. B) Under the therapeutics stream, I am involved in studying the novel amyloid neutralising peptides) that are specific in binding to human Amyloid beta 42. I am also involved in advancement of current ELISA technology to conduct multiplex measurements.
