In 2007 received the scientific title: Doctor in Chemistry at University Politehnica Timisoara, Romania in Organic Chemistry area. The main interest area: natural compounds, fine organic synthesis; evaluation and structural elucidation studies of organic compounds with biological activity.

i) Identification and structural analysis of active principles from plants; ii) synthesis methods for bioactive compounds, natural compounds; iii) development of techniques for analysis and characterisation (spectroscopy, chromatography); iv) coordination and monitoring scientific activity; v) development systems processes and technologies; vi) synthesis of advanced materials for environmental protection, health, agriculture, energy; vii) development of scientific projects.
