Dr. Ying Lin is currently appointed as an associate professor of internal medicine in Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital since 2011. Sun Yat-sen Memorial hospital is the first hospital in China providing western medical service since 1835. With an exciting period of growth and expansion for 180 years, our hospital has developed into a Class A teaching hospital in China, famous for its medical service, education, research and health care. Dr. Lin focuses on new techniques of gastrointestinal endoscopy. She is an expert endoscopist specialized at endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) and single/double balloon enteroscopy. Her research interest is the molecular mechanisms of colorectal cancer metastasis. She performed biomarker investigation and validation of colorectal cancer, especially in the field of actin-binding proteins. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) since 2009 and reviews for many international journals.
