Dr. Palani Elumalai, In Dec. 2014 he was awarded as National Research Fellow of Korea (NRF-Fellow) and his research has focused on the synthesis and characterization of biologically active functionalized bio-supramolecular self-assemblies. Since Nov. 2016 he is working in Texas A&M University in the field of functionalized Zirconium based Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for their bio-materials application along with bio-organometallic, metallo-drugs of platiunum group metals (Ru, Rh, Ir and Os) and their potent biomedical applications.
1) Synthetic bio-Organometallic/Bioinorganic and Coordination Chemistry
2) Functionalized Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for bio-catalytic and biomaterials applications
3) Supramolecular Self-assembly and their bio-medicinal properties
4) Functional materials Bio-supramolecular Chemistry
5) Bio-nanomaterials and Medicinal Chemistry
