Mario de la Fuente Revenga obtained his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from Universidad Complutense (Madrid, Spain). His formation as a researcher covers different areas of knowledge ranging from biocatalysis (University of Uppsala, Sweden), medicinal chemistry (Spanish National Council for Research, Madrid, Spain), drug discovery (University of Copenhagen, Denmark), clinical pharmacology (Hospital Sant Pau, Barcelona, Spain) to molecular pharmacology (Virginia Commonwealth University). In his short scientific career, he holds one patent, co-authored several original articles published in international peer-reviewed journals, and received the “Young Scientist Award” from the Spanish Drug Discovery Network and the International Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening.
