Dr.Chung-Yi Chen is Professor and Dean in Fooyin University. He obtained Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan (1996-1999) and Bachelor in Pharmacy from Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan (1991-1995). He has served as President from past 20 years, scientific interests focused on life-threatening diseases, including traditional Chinese medicine used for cancer research. He has established an ongoing collaboration analysis in recent year’s major active ingredients such as ginger, pepper and cinnamon used in gastrointestinal cancer, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti parasitic, active constituents of oral cancer, liver cancer and rectal cancer. He has worked for more than 220 papers and he won numerous awards at home and abroad since 2015. He was awarded the lifetime achievement award in 2016 for health care & biotechnology.
