Dr. Putz studied at the medical university of Aachen in Germany. Early after specializing in Gynecology and Obstetrics he gets additional experience in minimal invasive surgery in gynecology. He established new methods for falloposcopy and salpingoscopy and applied national and international publications. From 1984 to 2005 he worked in Dortmund and Duisburg in Germany and from 2005 in Molde and Tønsberg in Norway. Since 2009 he is the head of the Gynecological Department of the Vestfold Hospital Trust in Tønsberg and since 2012 he is the Managing Director of the national Norwegian Gynecological Endoscopy Registry.
