A male patient aged 62 years reported to the Emergency Department of Glocal Hospital, Berhampur, in a comatose condition with B.P. 210/110 mm of Hg. GCS was E1 M3 V1. Clinically he had left sided hemiplegia. A CT-Scan revealed massive haemorrhage (50 ml) in the basal ganglia and Para ventricular region. She was put on ventilator support. Cerebral hemorrhages are serious events and may kill the patient. This patient was comatose for 3 days. Blood pressure control was not as expected. The patient left the hospital on their own although they were explained that this is highly risky. The patient was lost to further follow up. Cerebral haemorrhage usually occurs in a setting of hypertension. Individuals who take aspirin regularly as prophylactic measure (blood thinner) may sometimes develop cerebral haemorrhage, but the benefit is far greater. Patients with Hemophilia may develop cerebral haemorrhage.
